Buju Stanciu & Associates Obtains Final Victory in Major Agricultural Sector Dispute

Buju Stanciu & Associates has successfully represented its client in one of the most complex disputes handled by the firm in connection with insolvency proceedings in the agricultural sector.

The dispute concerned commercial transactions worth several million euros, which were challenged in the context of the insolvency of a major company operating in the industry.

The financial stakes for the client were significant. Had the challenged transactions been annulled, the client would have faced substantial financial exposure, including the potential risk of personal liability.

Buju Stanciu & Associates successfully obtained the dismissal of the claims at first instance, and, in 2026, the favourable judgment was upheld with final effect.

The final decision brings to a close a long-running dispute involving extensive and complex evidence and confirms the client’s position in proceedings with financial implications amounting to several million euros.

The case required the BSA team to address the intersection between insolvency law, commercial transactions and liability issues, while reconstructing the economic and contractual background of the operations challenged in the proceedings.

For Buju Stanciu & Associates, the decision represents one of the firm’s significant litigation results of 2026 and another final victory in a complex case involving insolvency, commercial litigation and high-value transactions.

JP Karsenty & Associés IP Newsletter, September 2026

The JP Karsenty & Associés Intellectual Property Newsletter, September 2026 written by Pierre Trusson, with assistance from Clément Renou, reviews the following news.

LCEN Law: The responsibility of the author of a report that has led to the unjustified blocking of a video, even in good faith.

The creators of a show reported videos published on its platform to YouTube that included a short excerpt of it, deeming this cover to be counterfeit. After obtaining their withdrawal, they sued their creator in order to obtain compensation for the damage suffered.

During the dispute, the judges ruled on the responsibility of the author of the report with a particularly developed reasoning.

They hold that the report is made at the risk and peril of its author who may be held liable if the withdrawal is ultimately deemed unfounded on the merits, even in the case of good faith.

Focus IP reviews this judgment in detail, specifying the conditions of responsibility of the author of the report and the motivation used by the Tribunal judiciaire de Paris.

Wired Differently Webinar: Neurodiversity, Burnout and Legal Culture, 2nd September 2026

Wednesday 2nd September, 2pm CET

Neurodiverse lawyers are part of every firm, yet the traits that come with conditions like autism and ADHD are often misread as performance, attitude or culture problems. Our  panel including a neurodiversity coach with lived experience and employment lawyers with expertise in culture and compliance will unpack what neurodiversity really looks like in legal teams. They will consider how it connects to burnout, workplace conduct, and why understanding it is fast becoming a culture, compliance and retention issue rather than a “nice to have”.

A practical, candid conversation for firms who want to spot the traits, support their people, and turn difference into a strength.

Panellists

Gopika Kapoor – neurodiversity coach with lived and professional experience of neurodiversity and advocacy

Charlotte Yallop – employment lawyer, W Legal, UK member

Maaike Koot – employment lawyer, TK, Netherlands member
