Our firm, SATO & ICHIKAWA, was formed in 2020 by the merger of two unique firms. Since the merger, the scope of our services covers almost all of the legal needs in Japan.
Mr. Sato, who previously served as the legal counsel for the largest insurance company in Japan, leads the team for general legal practices, and Mr. Ichikawa, formerly an integral partner of the international law firm HAMAYOTSU & HAMAYOTSU, leads the international legal practice group. We handle Corporate, Litigation, Intellectual Property, Antitrust, Entertainment, Merger and Acquisition, Labor as well as various legal matters for our corporate clients. We also represent individual clients, including international clients, in their civil litigation cases, family court cases (Matrimonial, Inheritance, Hague Convention proceeding and so on) and Criminal Defense cases.
